Wow, what a day! The children all worked so hard and ran their hearts out! The sun shone, there was sportsmanship shown between our pupils to others, as well as a clear sense of team support for one another. One pupil fell over and got back up with determination to carry on and two ran with one shoe on, but every pupil came through that finish line with a sense of pride and a smile as they handed in their finishing ticket.

2nd place for Rory in the Year 2 Boys Race, an amazing team score for the Year 1 Boys (with four of them finishing in the top 15), three Prep pupils achieved spots in the Southend team (Samantha, Aarav and Folabi) and many more St M’s pupils improved their positions from last year; we all had a truly great experience.

Well done to everyone and thank you to all of the staff who supported them.
