Harry, Prime Minister of the Children’s Parliament arrived at the House of Lords yesterday accompanied by Zia (Head Girl) and Michael (Head Boy) to participate in a joint meeting with the APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group) to discuss the Metaverse and Web 3.0.
The meeting saw children discuss their views and concerns about the future direction of technology, including VR and AI. A panel of experts presented various concepts and answered questions from the children.
Anna Firth MP, Baroness Uddin and Damian Collins MP (Chair of the Joint Committee on the draft Online Safety Bill) were available at various points, to meet and talk to the children.
It was a magical day and one the children are sure to remember, all completed by a quick (but very important) stop in the gift shop of course!
