So we come to the last day of the Year 6 French trip and a visit to Boulogne Old Town for ice-creams, shopping and a picnic lunch on the beach before heading to the ferry for the journey home….and to top it off another birthday was celebrated this morning for Ted making that three birthdays on one trip, might be a record!

After a hearty breakfast Year 6 became boulangers. Once they had made their bread, it would be a long wait until dinner until they could sample their creation. So it was off to Nausica and everything under the sea. There was lots of awe and wonder as they investigated the shark tank, saw the sea lions and had fun with the stingrays in the touch tank. Then off to the snail farm! Year 6 were really brave allowing snails to crawl on their hands, arms and faces, yes that’s right faces! Back to the Hotel for dinner and disco. What a day AND the weather was kind!

Even the wet weather can’t stop Year 6. Market mission achieved, build your own lunch enjoyed, they were respectfully curious at the military cemetery and then up for more shopping before dinner and a scavenger hunt…further pictures to follow.
