Mrs Hankey, Head of Art is always providing her pupils with an array of art techniques and applications to try their hands at. Still Life is the current genre for Years 4 – 6 pupils, using beautiful green plants as the subject matter.

Coming in May….The Prep Play….Hooray!!!💛💙
A play set during the 1920’s to help to celebrate St. Michael’s 100th birthday.
Excitement is building in the Drama Department. Casting took place this week and rehearsals begin next week.

Here are some of the fantastic entries from the Winter Art Challenge! The brief was to create an artwork using just three colours.
Well done everyone – especially to Lyra and Leighton (Form 5) who were our winners this time, closely followed by runners up from Form 4, Percy and Samantha. Special mention to Bella (Form 2) who is also one of our runners up.

The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) exams took place in school today.
22 Drama Club pupils from across years 3-6 bravely performed Verse, Miming or Divising pieces in front of a LAMDA accredited examiner.
Mrs Thomas, Head of Drama said ‘We are extremely proud of all the children who worked so hard. Results will be back in six weeks and I’m sure all the children will have done brilliantly.’
Well done all, thespians in the making!
