Our amazing Year 2 children shone at the Infant Music Festival yesterday! They performed a brilliant set of weather-themed songs, complete with fantastic singing, actions, and instrumental accompaniment. A lovely moment seeing them represent our school so smartly and confidently. A huge thank you to Miss Tucker for her incredible dedication and accompaniment!

Our vibrant Nursery is conveniently located next to the main school, giving our youngest learners access to all of the school’s fantastic resources.
We offer a gently structured and enriching schedule, including drama, cooking, French, music, PE, and dance, all taught by specialist teachers. This helps build confidence and prepares children for Reception. Of course, literacy, phonics, and math are also incorporated, along with plenty of creative fun and free play!

Our Reception children had a lovely morning visiting their local library this week. They had fun choosing their books, going on a scavenger hunt and listening to stories from Liz the Librarian.
Mrs Willis was impressed with how impeccably behaved they were – a true credit to St Michael’s.

As part of their enrichment timetable, our Nursery children had a wonderful ballet session today with the talented Miss Cook, fluttering about as butterflies. This is just the beginning of their ballet/dance journey at St. Michael’s, should they wish to continue and develop their skills as they progress through the school.
