As the rest of the school enjoyed the summer holidays, Nyla (Year 5) was attending auditions for the English National Ballet after being entered on the recommendation of Miss Cook our RAD dance teacher.

Nyla did incredibly well and after competing nationally against others her age (8-13 years olds), has now been accepted into the English National Ballet for an all expenses paid training scheme!!

Nyla’s parents said, ‘We are immensely grateful to Miss Cook for her expertise, dedication, fantastic teaching and support for Nyla ( and indeed all her pupils), and for the fabulous extracurricular aspect that St Michael’s offers for its pupils.’

Well done Nyla – what a fantastic achievement and one St Michael’s is proud to share.
