Our Reception children had a lovely morning visiting their local library this week. They had fun choosing their books, going on a scavenger hunt and listening to stories from Liz the Librarian.
Mrs Willis was impressed with how impeccably behaved they were – a true credit to St Michael’s.

Our KS1 football team played brilliantly at the SPSSA competition on Friday, finishing 2nd and earning a spot in the Borough Finals this March! Despite the challenging weather, the boys showed fantastic teamwork and determination, achieving a well-deserved success. Congratulations to the whole team!

St Michael’s U11 girls attended their first regional Netball competition at New Hall School. The girls competed against the top 14 schools from across the East Region and grew in confidence with each team they played.
The last game ended with a 7-0 win placing us 9th in the East Region.
Well done team – great effort!

Year 2 History came to life today! Pupils travelled back in time (to Mr Mobbs’ office!) to explore artefacts from Florence Nightingale’s era. A huge thank you to Mr Stafford (Harry and Florence’s dad) for generously sharing items from his incredible collection. These included uniform pieces, a sword, lances, spurs, and medals from the Siege of Sebastopol! The children had a fantastic opportunity to closely examine these artefacts, sketch them, and share their exciting observations.
