Thank you to all our parents for helping pupils truly look the part today, there were some fantastic ideas. Here are just a few more pictures of the day. And of course, Mr Mobbs wouldn’t have missed the opportunity to get involved too, we even had World Book Day cakes for pudding today!

What an amazing day all the children have had. Each year group had the opportunity to spend time with author Michael de Souza and have a giggle at their teachers in the process. And being the Big Read, each House got together for the opportunity to read to different age groups and enjoy their favourite books. A great day!

It’s Shrove Tuesday aka Pancake Day, and the children of 1C were treated to their very own pancakes cooked by their form teacher, Miss Carr in our fully kitted out Home Economics room. The rest of the children didn’t miss out, Chef Steve made sure pancakes were available for all this lunchtime.
Meanwhile, our Reception children went off to Leigh Library this afternoon and we managed to get a picture of them starting their walk down the road – more pictures to follow. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to accompany them.
