Another great example of Prep and Pre-Prep pupils working together this time enjoying place value maths games.

Year 1 pupils had to make a random 2, 3 or 4 digit number and then with help from Year 4 children, use place value blocks to recreate that number on screen.

Encouraging cross-year learning has many benefits; instilling confidence in Prep children to ‘teach’ their younger peers, life skills such as patience and kindness and for our younger pupils, it gives them the chance to try new types of learning with 121 guidance from older pupils.
