Year 3 pupils explored the features of recipes in their English lessons. They successfully identified these features and enthusiastically applied their knowledge by following a recipe to bake gingerbread shapes in our specialist cookery room. Afterwards, they wrote their own gingerbread recipes, demonstrating excellent recall of the baking process. This was a wonderful example of cross-curricular learning made enjoyable!
