A very proud moment for Miss Cook when her dance troupe won Gold yesterday in the ISA National Dance Competition KS2 Groups category. Eva, Florence, Isla, Leighton, Lily, Lila, Lilia, Nyla, Olivia, Rafferty and Samantha performed a lyrical piece to the song Changes. Rafferty also performed a beautiful solo ballet piece as did Samantha, who performed a solo lyrical.
Judges from the prestigious dance company Rambert also awarded Rafferty a Best Performer award and Samantha for Highest Potential. Her award included tickets to see Rambert dancers perform!
What a day! Miss Cook said, ‘I am always so proud of the children’s hard work, dedication and talent that shines through, bringing my choreography to life. I loved every minute of this experience and can’t wait for next year!’
