In brighter sunshine than the qualifying round, our pre-prep football team showed incredible St Michael’s spirit at today’s KS1 Borough Finals, battling against 13 other schools! With 11 wins, 1 draw, and only 1 loss, they clinched SECOND PLACE! 🥈 A testament to their hard work and positive attitudes.

They performed a brilliant set of weather-themed songs, complete with fantastic singing, actions, and instrumental accompaniment. We offer a gently structured and enriching schedule, including drama, cooking, French, music, PE, and dance, all taught by specialist teachers. This helps build confidence and prepares children for Reception. Of course, literacy, phonics, and math are also incorporated, along with plenty of creative fun and free play!

In a delightful fusion of World Book Day fun and scientific discovery, Year 5, guided by Mr. Hawkins, created ‘magic potions’ that were actually pH indicator experiments. They discovered how red cabbage reacts with various liquids, demonstrating a colorful lesson in chemistry.

A brilliant week at St. M’s concludes, and we’re now preparing for an exciting Science Week with pupils, starting Monday!
